A little less than a month ago, after several member suggestions, we have changed the structure of the Verbal forum to have specific sub-forum categories. That processes seemed to have gone well and been widely accepted.
I would like to take a vote for 5 days to understand the feeling of the Math Forum crowd if we should do the same here and split the forum into DS (Data Sufficiency) and PS (Problem Solving)
Please vote and post your suggestions! The poll will close on Tue morning.

it will be easy to check updates on a daily basis(Like we are doing in SC/RC/CR)
DS is always Top priority for most of us I am unable to use yr Math forum as I get very few Quality Qs on a day or two I have no time & energy to search and go beyond page 1
so,Split it
Btw, Kudo function not working for 2 days or so..pls check
Can we develop a system i.e. optional to view the math questions undivided and undivided, both? Since we are very used to view the math and verbal section undivided, I am comfortable with undivided because we do not to go back and forth. If divided, an option to switch from X to Y is useful. The same option would be useful for verbal section as well.

Hello Everyone!
A little less than a month ago, after several member suggestions, we have changed the structure of the Verbal forum to have specific sub-forum categories. That processes seemed to have gone well and been widely accepted.

Thanks - we cannot have different structures for different users unfortunately, but we can setup shortcuts - check out the Beta theme - it has shortcuts for CR, RC, and SC - theoretically they would be visible only when you get into the Verbal/Math Forums. Check it out - PM if any questions
I don't see obvious reasons to split it. For example, PS and DS of Geometry type are closer than PS of Work problem type and PS of Number properties type. IMO.
especially a sub forum for Data Sufficiency questions. If we can come up with some way to organize the questions in Math section under some major sub types than that will be excellent and more useful.
The major sub types can be DS, Geometry, Word Problems, Regular Math. (This is just an example).
Just to add my view - Separating quant section isn't a great idea. Verbal - may be ok since people prepare for SC, CR and RC differently. In quant, say, number properties are tested both in PS and DS - so, you are probably better off looking at both PS and DS from the same angle.
Just to address the comments about the math forum structure - we had a vote open and that was the time to make comments. The vote is closed now and the forum is split.
If you would like to have a second vote or you changed your opinion - you are welcome to PM me and I will arrange another Vote in 30 or 60 days. Hope this makes sense.

Excellent idea. 60 days sounds good.
By the way, is it possible to have sort of favorite threads? It would be great to have fast access to them! Just a suggestion.
