We know that 1/12= .08; whereas 1/19 should be near to .05

We also know that slope of the graph of 1/x falls between 10 and 20 much faster at initial values than at latter values

So, we can estimate the value of 1/12+1/13+1/14+1/15+1/16+1/17+1/18+1/19
to be near to (.08*2+.05*6)/8=.05

thanks. i remember now; the answer choices were above 1/2, 1/2, below 1/2, and two other choices. i was struggling between A and B.

i know how to solve but am just curious what the choices (traps) are
