From my error log many of my DS wrongs are where i end up choosing the wrong choice after i figured out A or B. I am curious if anyone had any success "guessing" or are there any tricks to it if the question is taking too long to solve or not solvable? I always try to be careful on choices that combine "obviously" gives the answer..

1. If i can for sure eliminate A or B resulting in A/B,C,E choice - is there any way i can make an educated guess on it?

2. If I know A or B is right resulting in D/E - is D more frequent than E?

In my experience I've found that if you're on 600+ level questions, and you can determine that it's definitely NOT A or B by itself, there's a lower chance of it being C. Now, this is just based on my experience, but there's really no way you can tell what it's going to be without solving through the problem. I would however, be more skeptical of C than you would on easier questions.
