Will we get tested on Geometric Series. I always knew arithmetic series was in the syllabus... not sure about Geometric?

You may, I've seen it come up in a "which of the following is also a Geometric progression", but the concept was clearly explained and defined in the question itself. The GMAT will never ask you questions based purely on a concept unless they define it explicitly in the question stem.
