Can we attempt to put together a list of the most common GMAT repeating decimals and their fractional equivalents that you encounter? Would be good to have this to memorize.
I 'discovered' something when looking at MGMAT's Repeating Decimal strategy... They said that some common GMAT repeating decimals are 4/9 = .44 rep., 23/99 = .23 rep. , 1/11 = .0909 rep and 3/11 = .27 rep.
I also came across a question with 6/11 as a repeating decimal = .54 rep, which I realised was just 1/11 x 6 = .09 rep x 6 = .54 rep.
MGMAT's example of 3/11 = .27 rep is also an example of this - i.e. 3/11 = 1/11 x 3 = .09 rep x 3 = .27 rep...
Is this a general pattern that always applies for repeating decimals? If so it will make it easy to learn repeating decimals e.g. 1/3, 1/7 etc. and then if you see a multiple of those fractions in the GMAT you simply multiply their decimal equivalent by the multiple given (e.g. 3/11 = 1/11 x 3)fs

Those are my faves, so beautiful! Anything more obscure in terms of repeating decimals is not likely to appear on the GMAT though, so it's best not to focus on expansions of 13, 23, etc etc.
