1. 300 transfer students graduate with Honors...here we dont know the total number of graduating students with Honors..we want the number of 4 yr students graduating with honors to answer the question
So 1 is insufficient

2. Transfer students Grad with Honors = 1.5 * 4yr Students grad. with honors

let the number of transfer students be y
let the Number of 4 yr students with honors be x.

We are looking for the ratio y/ (x+y)

So, y = 1.5 * x

Therefore ratio is 1.5 x /( 1.5 x+ x) = 1.5 /2.5 = 3/5

Answer B
