1 is insufficient because n could be 15 or 30
2 is insufficient because n could be 10, 20, 30 or 40

1 & 2 together sufficient. LCM of 2 & 3 is 6. Only 30 is divisible by 6.

Answer is C. This one is really easy.

If n is a member of the set {10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40}, what is the value of n?

(1) n is a multiple of 3.
(2) n is a multiple of 2.

the answer is C.

1. it can be either 15 or 30.
2. it can be 10, 20, 30, 40.

1+2 = only 30 works.
