Hi all,

Buses leave town B at 3 pm and every 10 hours after that.
Buses leave town C at 4 pm and every 15 hours after that.
If the buses start their scheduale at Monday, when will they meet?

1. Tuesday
2. Wednesday
3. Thursday
4. Sunday
5. Never

Since buses r going out at regular frequency which two buses' meet is being talked about
Is B-C the route.
Question needs to be paraphrased exactly as in the book.

I think they can never meet

Suppose they meet at some time and bus B had completed B trips and C completed C trips then

B*10 = C*15 + 1 ( C left 1 hour later on its first ever trip )
Since B is interger and C is integer no valus for B and C exist which satisfy above equation

If the route is B to C and vice versa then they r going to meet ptobably, and for sure we don't know
1-) The BC distance , which means we can't calculate when the buses meet.
2-) Their speeds

The route that yu r talking about is B to C to some destination for bothe set of buses.
The route could also be C to B to some destination.

Lack of clarity clearly. Certainly not a GMAT type question.
