Another vote for A. I actually solve it by
listing out all possible combinations:

B=Blue, R=Red, Y=Yellow

BBR, BBY, BRY, BRB

Can anyone solve it by using formula or other intitutive method?

20. In a flower shop, there are 5 different types of flowers. Two of the flowers are blue, two are red and one is yellow. In how many different combinations of different colors can a 3-flower garland be made?

a) 4.
b) 20.
c) 3.
d) 5.
e) 6.

At first thought .. Q asks about "different combinations of different". So should'nt it be 1? 1 blue, 1 red, 1 yellow

There are more than 1 i guess... I can only come up with listing them:

Y R B
Y R R
Y B B
B B R
B R R

So it's d) 5.

Quite confident it's the rite answer but could someone give a more "systematic" answer? Like an aswer using C and A stuffs?

the different combinations of different colors is a bit ambiguous, anyway
I would go with A

(y,r1,b1) (y,r1,b2) (y,r2,b1) (y,r2,b2)
