As average weight of 5 items of these 15 is 5 kg. and if no item weighs less than 5 kg, then each of these 5 lightest items weight exactly 5kg.
But there might be more than 5 items with weight 5kg. Why not 14? 14*5=70 and the las item will be 50kg to make the average wight of 8kg.
Answer: E (14)

I will go with E
The average weight of 15 items = 8kg. Sum of weights of 15 items =120
If the least average weight of 5 items is 5 kg and each item weighs at least 5 kg. Then all these 5 items have a weight of 5 kg.
Now maximum number of items with same weight can be =
maximum no of items that can have weight 5 (14 ; 14 items weigh 5 kgs and 15th item weigh 50 kgs)
or
maximum no of items that can have a weight of x among the 10 highest weighing items (<=10)
whichever is greater
14 is obviously greater than 10 . so we don't have to calculate the second one. Answer should be 14.
