Sum of n terms of a GP = a\(\frac{(1 - r^n)}{(1 -r)}\)
--> a = 1/2, r = 1/2, n = 6
Sum = 1/2*(1 - (1/2)^6)/(1 - 1/2)
= 1 - 1/2^6
= 1 - 1/64
= 63/64.
IMO Option E.

One seeing the problem statement, I realised that if we add 1/64 to the problem equation, we will get 1. So if we minus 1/64 from 1 , we will get the answer.
So the answer is 1-(1/64) = 63/64.
So the answer is E.
If we need to solve logically, we will take lcm of all denominators. That is 64 is lcm in this case.
The equation becomes (32 + 16 + 8 + 4 + 2 + 1)/64 = 63/64.
