Let two numbers X and Y

X+Y = 10
XY = 20

reciprocals of two numbers : 1/X, 1/Y

1/X+1/Y = (X+Y)/XY = 10/20 = 1/2

X+Y = 10 and XY = 20

1/X + 1/Y = X+Y/XY = 10/20 = 1/2

let numbers be x and y
x + y = 10
xy = 20

dividing xy from first equation

1/y + 1/x = 10/xy
1/y + 1/x=10/20 = 1/2
