so, sp = 100* 4/5 = 80
so, cp = 80 * 5/6 = 200/3
discount = (100 -80) / 100 = 20 %
if, discount = 40 % , sp = (100 - 40) = 60
in that case , loss = cp- sp = 200/3 -60 = 20/3
so, if loss = 20/3 , mp = 100 ( ratio of loss : mp = 20 : 300 = 1 : 15 )
or, loss = 60 , mp = 60 * 15 = 900
correct answer D
