Hey folks, it must be 16. The OA is correct.

The area of circle A is three times more than the circle of circle B. If the circumference of circle B is 8, what is the circumference of circle A?

It is given that area is 3 times more and not 3 times of
which means area of A = 4 x Area of B( get the difference, or it is going to cost u a lot in the exam)

Given circumference of B = 8.
So it's area is 16/Pi

Now area of A = 4 x 16/Pi
ie Pi x R^2 = 64/Pi
ie R^2 = 64/(Pi)^2
ie R = 8/Pi

So circumference of A is 2 x Pi x 8/Pi = 16.

So the answer is E
