I found the following ques in one of the blog but theres no answer posted for the same. Can someone help pls?

Q. While flying over the Pacific, an airplane makes a 25 degree turn to the right to avoid a storm. If, as a result, the airplane in traveling in a direction 5 degrees east of north, in what direction was it originally flying? 
A. 30 deg west of north 
B. 30 deg east of north 
C. 20 deg west of north 
D. 20 deg east of north 
E. 5 deg west of north 

I think the ans is B. Is that correct?

rotate 25 degrees left from the 5 degrees east of north

5 degrees will get you to the north then other twenty degrees will take you to where u started from before turning right

Ok. I am thinking too much. With my exam in about three week i cannot afford to make such mistakes. Misread the ques.

Got it Yezz. I am not sure about the OA but i guess C is correct.

C , u go 25 right, and are now 5 to the right of north, subtract 25, you will be 20 to the left (west) of north

If north = 360 deg, then 5 deg east of north is 05, and 25 degrees left of 05 is 340, or 20 degrees west of north.
