only way to answer this question to plug in the given answers and find for an integer.

In this case answer E is correct.

plugging in is not the only way.

85 percent increase means that x.185/100=current outbreaks.

current outbreaks.100/185= x

current outbreaks.20/37=x

1-20/37=17/37=17 outbreaks 20/37+17/37=1

Really it is a LCD question.

More simpler way that I used. Check the answer which can be divided by 1.85 :-)
