D.

(17/13)x=(119/65)

x=(13*119)/(17*65)=(13*17*7)/(17*15*5)=7/5

this isn't a tough question, i am just interested in seeing how others solve it. the official explanation was different from what most would expect, but WAY more efficient.

What number divided by 13/17 equals 119/65

4/7
5/8
5/7
7/5
8/5

X/(13/17) = 119/65
=> X = (119/65)*(13/17) = 7/5

D.

(17/13)x=(119/65)

x=(13*119)/(17*65)=(13*17*7)/(17*15*5)=7/5

you are correct, but they set it up and solved it using a system of equations which i thought was very interesting.

At first I read it as 13/17/x/y So when I plugged in answer choices the only one that came close was D. So I reread it and I realized that I had the question wrong. (Answer is still D though)

Also u can do it this way 17/13x=119/65
