Before the first drop , the ball has travelled 8m
after first drop , the ball rises 4m and falls another 4m
after second drop , the ball rises 2m and falls another 2m
after third drop , the ball rises 1m
Distance = 8 + 2*4 + 2 *2 + 1
= 21
