Mysoon collects glass ornaments. Ten more than 1/6 of the ornaments in her collection are handmade, and 1/2 of the handmade ornaments are antiques. If 1/9 of the ornaments in her collection are handmade antiques, how many ornaments are in her collection?

a) 36
b) 60
c) 108
d) 144
e) 180

Please show your steps when giving your answers.

double set matrix is the best way to solve this.

x is the amount of ornaments.

so x/6+10 = total handmade.

(x/6+10)/2= total handmade and antique

x/9= total handmade and antique

x/6+10=2x/9 --> 10=4x/18-3x/18 --> x=180
