Yet another approach.....
Let the angles be as follows:
Smallest = X
Next smallest =y
Largest = 5

From the information given:
x/z = 2/7 ===> 2z=7x ----------(i)

Also,
x/y = 1/3 ======> y=3x ----------(ii)

Since this is a triangle, the sum of all the three angles is 180;
x+y+z = 180 ======> 180 --------(iii)

Combining equation (ii) and (iii) we get :
x+3x+Z = 180 ===> z=180-4x --------(iv)

Substituting (iv) into (i) we get :
2(180-4x) = 7x ====> 360=15x ===> x = 24

From equation (ii) y=3(24)= 72 which also gives z = 84

THE ANSWER IS C

smallest : largest = 2:7 => 1:3.5
smallest : next smallest = 1:3
Sum total of all the angles in triangle = 180,
So smallest + next smallest + largest = 180
=> X + 3X + 3.5X = 180
=> X = 180/7.5 = 24

largest angle = 3.5X = 3.5*24 = 84

Answer C.
