The figure with + sign in the diagonal cell indicates the following:
x + 4 = 1, or x = -3
x + e = 7, or e = 10
y + 4 = -5, or y = -9
y + e = n, or n = 1
e + z = 10, or z = 0
z + 4 = m, or m = 4
Hence, m + n = 5.
x + 4 = 1, or x = -3
x + e = 7, or e = 10
y + 4 = -5, or y = -9
y + e = n, or n = 1
e + z = 10, or z = 0
z + 4 = m, or m = 4
Hence, m + n = 5.
