8103/x is a non terminating deciml.Which of the following could be a value of x?
2,5,9,12,15

Let me try to explain. Now usually numbers when divided by 3 or a multiple of 3 are non terminating. This should be checked after reducing the number to the lowest form i.e cancelling out any common factors. Now we can boil down to just three values that can result in non-terminating decimals. 9,12 and 15 since all are multiple of 3. But 8103 is a multiple of 3. Hence we could cancel out the 3 between numerator and denominator. Thus 8103 when divided by 9 , 12 and 15 will reduce to 2701/3, 2701/4 and 2701/5. Now if we check, only the first one is divided by 3 but the other two are divided by 4 and 5 which will result in terminating decimals. Thus 9 is the answer.
