This is a classical work problem.
1,5 chickens lay 1,5 eggs in 1,5 minutes
that means
3 chickens lay 3 eggs in 1,5 minutes
and that means
3 chickens lay 6 eggs in 3 minutes
;)

\(\frac{3}{2}\) chickens = \(\frac{3}{2} eggs / \frac{3}{2}minutes\)
\(=> 2* \frac{3}{2} chickens = 2* \frac{3}{2} eggs / \frac{3}{2}minutes\) -- Multiply by 2 both sides

\(=> 3 chickens = 2*3 eggs/2*\frac{3}{2} minutes\) -- Multiply by 2 in the right hand side( both numerator and denominator)

\(=> 3 chickens = \frac{6 eggs}{3 minutes}\)

Hence, answer is 6.

Another fun question. Guys, this is classics from the childhood :)

If a chicken and a half can lay an egg and a half in a minute and a half. How many eggs would three chickens lay in three minutes?

A)2
B)3
C)6
D)8
E)9

Will be posted later

P.S. Another possible way of looking on the problem: The answer is 0, because if you have a chicken and a half, the chickens are dead :-D

Maybe the single alive chicken increases rate of production looking at the half dead chicken. Either make some more eggs or be someone's lunch! :-D

Anyway, back to the problem, I go with 6.
