The questioning is asking which of the values can be perimeter....
Given two sides are 2 and 5. Also there are 3 different perimeters. From these values we know what is the possible length of the third side. Now need to find which of these lengths can be the third side to make the triangle.
I) 9 - 2
II) 15 - 8
III) 19 - 12
Imp rule : diff between any two side <= third side <=sum of the other two sides
Now check which of the above lengths satisfies the rule. Obvisouly NONE.
So ans is A.

The Side of The Triangle rule states the third side cannot be smaller than Side A - Side B or bigger than Side A + Side B (where a is the larger of the two sides)
From the options we have the third side =
I) 2
II) 8
III) 12
5 - 2 = 3 Side cannot be small than 3
5 + 2 = 7 Side cannot be larger than 7
No option is valid.
