I am getting C as the answer by POE.

Let us assume the number 1, 4, 6 ,8 and 9.

A - ruled out because 6 = 1+2+3 where 1 is not prime.
B - 1= 9-8 but 9 is not even
D - 32 = 8*4 where both are even
E - 1 = 1*1 but 1 is not prime.

However I could not unprove C and thus is the choice. Do correct me if I am wrong.

I choose E

By the way I have a problem with this question as all prime are > 0 when statement about n does not avoid n<0...

However, as the question stem talks about prime numbers, I assumed that all the numbers are positive. Not sure whether I am right.

Dear all,

the OA indeed is E

but a little weird, becuase how to think about 1 in choice E?

Really weird 1 is not taken into account as well as negative numbers...

Is it an official one ?

Hello, twixt

I think when we talk about prime factor, we need not consider negative numbers.

How do you think about ?

I have chosen E too.

Simply because the other options are not true.
E is strange, but I am 100% sure the other options are not possible.
I used trial and error.
