Given rectangular frame area = picture area.

Hence (18 * 15) - (l*b) = (l*b)

(9 * 2 * 5 * 3) = 2 (l*b)

(l*b) = (9 * 5 * 3).

Also given length of frame = 18 units and breadth = 15 units.

(l/b) = (18/15) and l = (18/15)*b

Hence ((18/15) * b * b) = (9 * 5 *3)

b^2 = (9* 5* 3) * 15 / (18)

b = 15 / \sqrt{2}

Also 
 l = (18/15) * (15 / \sqrt{2})

Hence 
 l = 9 \sqrt{2} .
