Dear Nickil, should I start scholarship applications once admitted or before?

It's quite confusing because I've heard Universities are asking for information about annual income/ assets etc. But I have not seen such requirements in the applications that I am working on.

Thanks

Depends on the type of scholarship - merit or need.

The admit decisions and merit scholarship decisions usually come out on the same day. Usually (but not always) in separate emails/notifications but almost always the scholarship information will be provided along with the admit decision for Merit scholarships. Merit is not based on the need, so you don't have to submit financial information or at least not much (just current salary/how you plan to finance your program)

Need-based aid, which is I believe only HBS and Stanford, you go through the financial aid after the admissions decisions: https://www.gsb.stanford.edu/programs/m ... on-process
