I have been offered a place in the 2023 intake for ESSEC's Master in Finance. I have applied to a Prodigy Finance loan and my application was verified. Now, I am waiting to get matched in late March to early April. However, I have to pay a deposit to the school by the end of this week. I'm afraid that I might no get matched, especially since I was my conditional offer has a high interest rate and a long term (which I don't mind). I'm afraid I might not get matched as my application might be considered risky. There are no other funding options for me, so I'll lose my deposit, which is a very large number in my country. Does any one have any advice on what I should do?

Hi. You can always contact the school and ask them what they would recommend in your situation, if planning to finance it with a loan…. However, almost everyone’s going to take a loan for their MBA or masters, and almost everyone will be in the same shoes your end. It’s not like you are unique in someway, right? Or do you think you will end up in a different situation?

Thank you for your reply. I don't understand what you mean by my "unique situation." If you mean that I might not get matched, I'm just worried. I have no other funding options because in my country, the culture of educational loans is not known, your family can either afford to put you in the program or no. My country is not among Prodigy's excluded markets, however. I think that for my background, my situation is unique, at least to my knowledge.
In addition, my contact at the school didn't recommend; he just told me that the deposit can be refunded only if I am unable to get the visa.
