Hello Community,
I am facing a very stressful situation regarding financing my MBA program at the University of Calgary, Haskayne MBA. The program is for 20 months, starting on August 25, 2025.
The amount needed to cover tuition fees equals to 42260$ CAD after subtracting scholarships. + insurance, books, etc 3-4k.
I have dual citizenship for Ukraine and Canada, but I currently live in Romania.
The Program is located in Alberta, Canada. I was out of Canada for almost 4 years, and I was not a resident of Alberta.
Due to these factors and the absence of my mobile phone number, I can't apply for Canadian student loans (government level) and Alberta student loans (provincial loans).
My Canadian bank (TD Bank) can't verify me without my phone number as well.
Please advise on options to finance my MBA in this situation. I don't know where to ask for a loan. Looking for guidance, as I will need to cover my living expenses as well.
