Hello everyone!
Everyday, we all come across many strange but funny English words or sentences. Let's have some fun with those words, sentences while learning Verbal section. This will also serve as Verbal notes. I will post on regular basis on this topic and I would love if everyone will contribute on this
GRAMMAR is one of most commonly misspelt words. Many people write it as GRAMMER. Another word is TUITION; many write as TUTION.
Don't confuse
MOMENTARY (short-lived) with MOMENTOUS (of great importance)
e.g. His anger was momentary.
It was a momentous occasion.
CROWD (a large number of people together in one place) with MOB (a large number of noisy & violent people difficult to control)
Q: Can you name the most commonly used English Word and Letter?
Q: Can you name the odd city?

I know another common mistake is Affect and Effect. 2 diff definition.
