Hi Friends can you clarify the below two sentences


He runs faster than (I / me).

He is older than (I/me)

I thought the answer for the two sentences is "me", however the answer is "I" for both the sentences.In Manhattan SC i read that when the pronoun is a part of object we should use "me" and not "I"...so friends can you please clarify how to use "Me" and "I".

Try it this way (repeating the verb)...

He runs faster than (I / me) run.

He is older than (I / me) am.

He is older than I.
The pronoun following "is" must be in the same case as the noun or pronoun preceding "is"

We have to match the Case

Here he(subjective case) is the subject, so compared with I(Subjective Case)
