Is OG 12's CR questions are less difficult than actual gmat

Question

Is OG 12's CR questions are less difficult than actual gmat's. I have finished the OG 11 CR and I have realised that questions are not tough.

Q1- to 60 - I got 2 wrong
Q60- 80 - I got 3 wrong ( I had some doubts and only those were incorrect)
Q80-100 - I got 5 Wrong ( I did them when i was not able to concentrate much)
Q100 - 124 - I got 2 Wrong

Just want to know others experience on CR of OG11. Also really appreciate if some one can help me with source of tough question.

No, but yes, you have to prepare yourself for everything for the GMAT. I owned OG CR, but you have to be able to answer the same types of questions, but depending on what you are trying to achieve score wise you have to know how to answer all questions equally as well across different difficulty levels, which get much harder the better you do.

Best thing is to distinguish between an actual argument, and a fact set which can be tested completely differently. My suggestion is to master the CR Bible reasoning in logic which will help you immensely to distinguish between correct and incorrect answer questions.

What is more important is how well you are doing on the test. Your accuracy is great - but can you hold your nerves and solve it in around 109 seconds (the time you have per question on verbal) on the test?

Also the OG is graded - so are your mistakes stacked towards the end? In that case my recommendation would be to start with the last 50 questions in OG 12 not the initial ones. Generally speaking, there isn't a change in difficulty from one OG to the next. In fact, in some cases there is very little difference in questions from one version to the next (OG 13 only changed 15% of questions from OG 12). That said, you should probably study from the most recent materials because they are the most reflective of the questions you may see on the GMAT.

If you really want to test your CR abilities take some practice exams. Here is a link to a free MGMAT exam (https://www.manhattangmat.com/free-gmat. ... paign=home). You'll get some great diagnostics on your CR performance from this test. You should also test yourself on the GMATPrep exam (at mba.com) and review the CR questions you get wrong.

Here's an important point you must consider - It doesn't matter how awesome you are at CR if you are really weak on SC/RC. You want to balance your study among the three Verbal areas because you really are only as strong as your weakest area.

Maybe you're just good at CR. Try your hands at LSAT CR (Argument) questions for additional challenge.
