Hi guys, Need your help.
I have the GMAT in a few days and so far I am hovering in the 37-39 range in the verbal section.
My best score so far has been 39 and my lowest score (which I choose to think of an outlier) has been 34. I really want to break the 40 mark but I understand that I don't have enough time. Any tips that might atleast help me attempt to do better, given that it's only a few days?

It's certainly possible. Be sure to religiously review mistakes you've made before. We recommend reviewing mistakes in the morning for the ones you got wrong the previous day.
Go through the thinking process for questions you've seen before and challenge yourself to see if you can answer them faster or more efficiently. Doing the easy ones quickly and with confidence can free up time for the more time-intensive questions.

Hi
Your score shows that you have good understanding of the fundamental concepts. All you need now is to identify the gaps in your preparation. A detailed review is the key to boost your score.
The following steps may help you do so:
1. First, review the tests you have taken: identify and list down your mistakes
2. Next step is to categories your mistakes
Conceptual: the rules/ concepts you got wrong; questions you guessed on
Process: bad pacing (ran out of time?)or wrong approach (jumping onto the answer choices without pre-thinking the answer)
Negligence: silly mistakes
Psyche: anxiety, distraction, fear
3. Finally, work on the identified area
Conceptual: Revisits the concepts for deeper understanding
Process: Practice under timed conditions, don't take frequent breaks (you may take two breaks for 8 mins each for a 4 hour study session). The idea is to study in a GMAT like environment
Negligence: Make sure you keep a track of all the silly mistakes so you don't repeat them
Psyche: Thinking about score or school while taking the test is a bad idea. GMAT throws you a question at a time; think only about that question.
Once you have learnt from your mistakes, take another test to track your improvement
