Hello,
I'm a native speaker who studied up on SC and I'm performing at 90th percentile on Verbal. I've just recently discovered that most of the practice OG SC questions that I get wrong, are related to idioms. My exam is little under 2 weeks away and I'm trying to decide whether I should study idioms or just continuing to focus on reviewing Q and V without studying anything new?
Also, I heard that GMAT no longer tests idioms as actively as before, is this true?

Yes. More specifically, chances are minimal that an option would be incorrect because of incorrect idiomatic usage.
By the way, I find this interesting that you are getting most SC questions incorrect because of idiomatic usage. Interesting because GMAC opined that the usage of idioms offered an undue advantage to native English speakers (which you are:)).
