i'm not allowed to post links so ill describe it- i went to the sentence correction forum here, clicked the Sentence Correction Question Directory Topic and Difficulty, and clicked the "all 500-level sc questions"

ive looked through about 20 questions and they seem pretty difficult for 500-600 level questions.

i'm generally better at mathematics than english/grammar. 550 level quant questions are mostly a breeze for me, so i was kind of expecting 550~ sentence corrections to be the same way

It could just be me and i really need to brush up on my sentence correction. I am a native english speaker, so i'm a little freaked out im having trouble with the lowest tier questions.
Yes, some questions in 500 level section are 700 level questions. For example, the question below.

Hi btan219,

Your goal is reasonable and attainable, but you're going to have to change the way that you're going about this process if you want to achieve your goal.

I think that part of the problem that you're facing is that you don't seem like you're actually practicing tactics - you're just doing lots of practice problems. Unfortunately, by working in that way, you're only going to learn something if you 'stumble' into it.

You've mentioned your issues with SCs, but I have to assume that you have similar issues in other areas. Until you take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT, we won't know how serious all of these issues are. I understand that you don't want to take a CAT until you feel "ready", but we really need to know how you handle the FULL test. You assume that your biggest problem is in SCs, but it might be in some other area(s) (they might even be in the Quant section).

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
