I have studied for two months until now. I took the exam 2 days ago and luckily, I got 710(Q:51, V:34) on my first exam.
Since the best score I got on my PREP was 680, I am very satisfied with the score.
However, as I have set October as the final month of the study, I am planning to take exam once more.
My problems are below.
1. I have no idea where my problems are. I usually get 10~12 wrongs among 41 verbal questions, and the wrong ones are evenly distributed in all SC, CR, and RC.(such as 3, 3, 4) I should find the starting point of the study, but I guess I am kind of last here. Which one should I go first? Which one will be comparably easier to improve?
2. The only book I have is OG and Kaplan. I have read the RC and CR guidlines carefully, but I find myself not following them..
For instance, the guideline of RC recommends to 'find the main point first' and 'skim through other details'. However, I found that is not my type. I just read the whole passage carefully and answer the questions. The result is... "NOT ENOUGH TIME".
Will the Kaplan guidelines be enough to improve my verbal score? Should I re-read it and go with it?
Or Should I buy another book?
I am totally lost here.. someone please help me out!

First of all 710 is a wonderful score. Congratulations for it. Kaplan is good for RC and average for CR. But if u have problem in SC, you can get enrolled in Egmat SC instead of buying a book. Trust me on this! All the best.(I am still trying to cross 700+)
