I've scored V31 on GMAT today. I need advice on the following topics -
1. Need help in SC. Best shot is 50% accuracy. I simply can't tell what the question is trying to ask, lest I get to know before hand that this is the concept being tested. (The blue tag in GMATClub questions, my eyes would pick it even though I would try not to see. In exam setup, I just sweat)
2. I'm out of MGMAT mocks and GMAT prep mocks (all four). Please recommend me a close alternative to GMAT prep mocks.

Hi! Did you opt for Enhanced Score Report? We have observed that ESR is many times an eye-opener (in the sense that your actual weaker areas might turn out to be different from what you think are your weak areas).
As for SC, thought I will mention that our sentence correction book Sentence Correction Nirvana is perhaps the only book that offers a score improvement guarantee, and is especially designed for non-native speakers.
After reading the book twice (yes! it's an academic book, and so must be read twice in all seriousness, to reinforce the concepts), you will start looking forward to solving SC questions!
The book is available on Flipkart and Amazon.in. You might want to refer to these sites, to also read testimonials of how readers have benefited.
If you want to sample a chapter before deciding to go ahead with our book, please PM me your mail-id (along with the chapter that you would like to sample) and I will be happy to send that chapter to you by mail. Since you already have a V31 (which is not a great score, but at the same time, also not a disaster), I am sure you would be able to appreciate the value-add that the book would do.

Hey pdkgearbox,
The SC section is the easiest verbal section to make improvements on. Once you understand how to think and approach this question type, there are only so many ways you can be tested. Here at GMAT Pill we developed the 10 core frameworks which detail the 10 ways to approach GMAT sentence corrections.

As for practice tests, you can always take a free GMAT PILL practice test here complete with detailed performance and timing analytics: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice- ... ctice-test
In terms of our scoring, many of our students report scores that are +/- 30 points from their actual GMAT test and so are a relatively good indicator of their performance. That said, no practice test can perfectly replicate the actual score algorithm, but this is quite close.
