I have a question to verbal experts on this forum about the validity of E-GMAT CR resources?
I have studied MGMAT and PowerScore CR books and now going through E-gmat resources.
On E-gmat, Inference is the 2nd topic after concept topic (I scored approx 90-100 % on concept section on e-gmat).
While going through the inference questions, my score was approx. 50% on various quizzes (Easy and medium) - background: I am clear on concept but i have doubts on the english and wording of answer choices on e-gmat. However, right after my e-gmat quizzes, I attempted Official Guide questions and I scored 100 % on all 12 questions which are refereed on the inference topic on E-gmat. This is making me perplex, so I would like to hear experts opinion.
I also scored approx 80-90% on MGMAT and Powerscore questions while going through those books.
Is OG, MGMAT and PowerScore the true assessment of my skills or E-gmat? If OG and others then it is worth spending time and going through E-gmat CR resources and quizzes?

optmistic2016 - thanks for posting the doubt. I have a question -

Which quizzes are these - Application file, practice file, Scholaranium. Write to [email protected] and they can respond accordingly.BTW - its goodto know that you are doing well on the OG quizzes. I hope that you were attempting these questions for the first time.
Lastly, do you know that we have internal forums with every question where you can post your query in case you have a doubt on any answer choice. Bottom line - your goal at this stage should be to learn from every question. Hence, if you have doubts, post them internally to ensure the same.
Yes - this is the first time I have attempted OG questions scored 100 % and almost same accuracy during MGMAT and PS questions.
In the inference section - I am referring to Inference Concept file, Application and Practice tests.
Yes, I am aware about internal e-gmat forum but my intent for posting this question on GMATClub is to get opinion from those experts who have no associating with e-gmat.
During the good old days when we all were in school we never relied on any of such online courses. A good book is what is needed. I have not tried any online course for CR so far though i have full subscription to both Veritas on demand and Manhattan on demand i simply chose to read Powerscore CR bible at a stretch for 3 days slowly to grasp whatever i can. I think it has done a certain level of good to me as I have never studied or practiced CR before that. I agree the practice questions are too few in the book but it is a fabulous resource if used correctly. The moment you see certain questions you would be able to identify exactly what to attack and the relevant type. Just my personal and very recent experience. . Having said all that i may subscribe to e-gmat for the sentence correction as I am yet to complete my preparation on that front with MGMAT SC. If i feel a bit rusty even after completing it with sufficient practice I may go to e-gmat SC as i have read good reviews about it.
At the end of the day it all boils down to which medium of presentation suits you - audio visual or plain good old reading?
