Hospitals, having focused (on supporting practitioners) (from all fields of medicine) , now striving (to become efficient solution shops for specific illnesses).
If I change the sentence to the following, will it be correct?
Hospitals have focused (on supporting practitioners) (from all fields of medicine) , now striving (to become efficient solution shops for specific illnesses).
Now then sentence above has one SV pair: Hospital - have
Does this mean that this sentence is correct? If yes, what does "now striving" refer to - medicine?

No, the new sentence is not correct either (because it does not provide the right meaning).
Hospitals have focused on supporting practitioners from all fields of medicine, now striving to become efficient solution shops for specific illnesses.
1. We do have a subject (hospitals) and a verb (have focused), so that error is no longer there.
2. Now striving could refer to hospitals have focused, all fields of medicine, or medicine.
3. The logical relationship between the main clause (hospitals have focused) and now striving is absent. For example:
She has taken the GMAT, now looking to do well in her interviews.
Here the looking to do well bit looks completely disconnected from she has taken the GMAT.
vs.
She has taken the GMAT and is now looking to do well in her interviews.
This sentence seems to say that thing 1 is over, and she has moved on to thing 2.
