How can you tell when to duplicate the common parallel word and when to not???

Welcome to Gmatclub. I am not a verbal expert but I can say there is a ambiguity/meaning difference between wrong and right choices.
For ex.-
1. WRONG - I want to retire to a place where the taxes are low and I can relax.- This sentence can also mean that - I want to retire .. and I can relax. But, the meaning requires - want to retire to a place where (taxes are low and can relax). The below correct answers tells that.
RIGHT - I want to retire to place where the taxes are low and where I can relax.
2. WRONG - The consultant is looking for a cafe that has comfortable chairs and provides free internet. - This sentence can also mean that - consultant is looking .. and consultant provides free internet. Meaning issue again. The meaning requires that a cafe that has chair and internet.
RIGHT - The consultant is looking for a cafe that has comfortable chairs and that provides free internet.
3. WRONG - The experiences we have in childhood influence our behavior we have in adulthood. - It's a general statement. Something leads to something. Our behavior made it clear. 'We have' is not required.
RIGHT - The experiences we have in childhood influence our behavior in adulthood.

Could just be me, but I don't think either of these is incorrect (haven't looked at the others closely). On the GMAT, if I had a choice between the two, I might choose the former in fact.
