What is the difference between "compare to" and "compare with"?
In the MGMAT SC book, it says "compare to" is used for similiarities and "compare with" is used for differences. I am still not sure the difference between these two idioms.
Would you explain or give sentence examples for the two idioms?

Compare to is used to compare non similiar things and look for their similarity. For example, He compared her to a summer day. Scientists sometimes compare the human brain to a computer.
Compare with is used to compare similiar things and look for their differences. For example, The police compared the forged signature with the original. The committee will have to compare the Senate’s version of the bill with the version that was passed by the House.
