I've taken two ManhattanGMAT tests (640 and 660, with one higher in verbal and the other higher in quant), completed an error log for both, and have been going through the Official Guide for the past couple of weeks. I seem to be improving in most of my weak areas, but I'm still missing a disproportionate number of inference questions... consistently. I can usually narrow it down to two, one of which is correct. Can anyone give me some advice on how to better prepare for inference questions? Thanks!

Look out for these things before you narrow down your answer
1.The inference will definitely cover both statements of the question stem.
2.Wrong answer partially includes just one of the things given in the question
3.Wrong answer is too general and out of scope
You might have read this in the books you may have referred,but this usually works for me with 95% accuracy.

iships, thanks! You're correct... I had read this, but your commment reminded me that I wasn't focusing on #1. This seems to have helped in the practice questions. I'm taking another test on Monday and, hopefully, will improve in this area.
