I recently downloaded the GMATprep software
For RC questions no line numbers and number of questions are displayed . Has anybody observed this?
I guess on th eactual GMAT the line numbers and nos of questions for each passage are specified.
Can anybody confirm if the RC format has changed?

This is not an error. GMATPrep is correctly displaying the text. Even in actual GMAT you will not be told line number, however is specific question ask about some line then that will get highlighted. So you do not need to worry about searching the text. In OG they have to give line number as they cannot change it dynamically to highlight text on the fly. Even if they want to highlight in that case colored printing will be required, which might cost more.

Iam not worried more about the line numbers than not knowing number of questions for a passage. If a passage has 4 questions I allocate 4 mins for reading the passage and 4 mins for answering the questions. If I dont know the number of questions Iam not sure how much time to spent in reading th epassage.
