Guys this question has been discussed but I made some points regarding chioce B but unfortunately no one replied and so i am putting it again. Plz see the earlier disucssion and my comments in it. I strongly think the answer should be B. and not D

I just happened to read your previous comment Idiom is "interested in [doing something]"
"in" is required in both clauses to maintain proper idiom and is in no way redundant.
