MGMAT SC guide is excellent. A must read for basic grammar and then Kaplan for some common glitches for SC like 'being' and 'hopefully' in an answer option are almost always never correct so if you see them, just eliminate the option immediately.

As Sensible points out, there are a lot of common errors on the GMAT. The most important thing to do it NOT to pull out a grammar text and burn through it. Use a test-prep resource (needless to say, I recommend Kaplan!)--and focus on which tenses you need to understand because they are misuses, and which tenses are needlessly complex or convoluted and as a result seldom correct.
