hello, I've reviewed the previous links.

But I still don't know what the meaning of choice E.

Could you tell me why E is error?

thanks

chunjuwu, A tells you that across the board only popcorn sales did better so it adds evidence that the company's claim is false.

E on the other hand supports the company's claim. The company can claim that though there was a 5% increase in sales if they had stuck to stuck to coconut oil there would have been a 10% increase in sales like the year before last.

Hope that was clear...

Hello, gayathri,
could you help me to check my thought?

what the choice E means is that because the popcorn sales increase 10% in the year before last, if the company continue to maintain the new kind of oil, it will increase its sales in the coming years. So, choice E support the argument.

Am I right? thank you.
