Even after reading the explanations for the correct answers I am having trouble wrapping my head the questions below. Thank you in advance!
MEDIUM 1.) Non Profit Organization Administrator: In past years, attending our mid year celebration event cost only a nominal amount approximately equal to the organization's cost per attendee. Going forward, we will be charging more attendance; attending the event will cost a relatively substantial amount that is the equivalent of a smaller medium sized donation. Making fees for attending the event into a source of donations will serve to increase the funds available to our organization each year. (C) Many people who would consider making large donations to the organization see their giving to the organization for the year as compete once they have made one donation.
HARD 2.) The practice of shipping recyclable waste to other countries for processing seems to be a convenient way to dispose of such waste. However, once such materials is out of our country, we have no reliable way of monitoring what happens to the material and our country;s waste disposal regulations no longer apply. Therefore, we have no practical way of knowing whether the material is actually being recycled and sold rather they simply dumped somewhere (A) Municipalities in the country shipping recyclable waste to other countries receive from those taking the material a minimum of $6 per ton of such material
3.) The Tony Toes show manufacturing company has a new plan for both boosting its business and fighting poverty. For every pair of Tony Toes shoes sold, the company will donate a pair of shoes to someone living in a less affluent area of a major city. Since Tony Toes sells many thousands of pairs of shoes every year, in adopting this plan, Tony Toes will make lower income communities better off. (D) In many less affluent communities, shoes stores located there are key sources of both training for entry level employees and of income
