Go for B. The author is all for cloning mammals (for food, preservation of endangered species etc) but is against human cloning as there are still many questions left unanswered in this area.

seems like the author is ok with cloning mammals such as sheep but is not ok with cloning humans, hence I will go with C.

C is too extreme by saying that cloning shud be stopped. E is far better

Sheep and monkeys are some of the mammals that have been successfully cloned. In the future, cloning may be a very important way to reproduce animals that are endangered. It may also be useful way to reproduce animals that can be used for food in underdeveloped countries. However, cloning humans raises many questions. If you clone a 40 year old man, what do you have when the clone of the man reaches 30? A 30 year old clone of a 40 year old? Or, a 40 year old clone of a 30 year year old? Also, how much of human behavior is genetic and how much is enviromental? Experts disagree on the answers. Though studies have been done on identical twins separated at birth, we are far from having definitive answers.

If the above discussion is true, it is a reason for accepting which of the following statements?

A) The argument that cloning of mammals should continue
B) The argument that cloning of mammals should not continue
C) The argument that cloning of mammals should continue, but experiments leading directly to cloning of humans should be stopped
D) Some stereotypical behavior is unique to all mammals
E) Some stereotypical behavior is not unique to all mammals--CORRECT
Question raised in human cloaning but not in sheep and monkey cloaning shows that some stereotypical behavior is not unique to all mammals.

I see how E might be correct but think that C is more correct.

Assumptions
- Cloning may be a very important way to reproduce animals that are endangered
- May also be useful way to reproduce animals that can be used for food in underdeveloped countries

Fact:
-Sheep and monkeys are some of the mammals that have been successfully cloned
-However, cloning humans raises many questions
-Studies have been done on identical twins separated at birth,

Conclusion
- How much of human behavior is genetic and how much is environmental? Experts disagree on the answers. Though.
- we are far from having definitive answers

A) The argument that cloning of mammals should continue
B) The argument that cloning of mammals should not continue
C) The argument that cloning of mammals should continue, but experiments leading directly to cloning of humans should be stopped
D) Some stereotypical behavior is unique to all mammals
E) Some stereotypical behavior is not unique to all mammals

A,B & C - Eliminate - No where in the argument it is saying to stop cloning it is only raising questions.

Left with D & E
- stereotypical behaviour will be something which is genetic occurs across a mammal(s)
- BUT the argument only talks about the "How much of human behavior is genetic ??"

Hence E should be the answer.

I think specifically to the last section. E is right. But if you look at the overall discussion, what the author wants to say is that , people should stop human cloning. Hence I would go with C.

Is it possible to post the explanation please, would have chosen A as well. I see no reasons in this fragment from which I can conclude that cloning of humans shoud stop
