I take C on this one.

if they are failing to provide financial support for a performance rather than intensively not providing, then it weakens the argument.

C. The lack of support is different than censoring or prohibiting something

Totally flummoxed by the question :shock:

Had this been the exam i would have chosen B.

Sorry guys no explanation this time, this is only an instinctive answer.Rest of the answers doesn't make much sense to me

Defnly wish to see the OE for this one.

I will have to say "A", if most people in the council agree on what is obscene, the argument that "few" bureaucrats have censored is weakened.

it doesn't matter if most people on the council agree. 100% of them could agree and it would still be "a few voices" according to this passsage since they refer to the entire arts council as a few voices.

C is the clear choice here.

The fallacy here is that the author is shifting definition of freedom of expression based on artistic values to withholding funds - not the same thing.

The only answer that addresses this is C.
