Per the instructions of the new Vice President, the Stratford Foundation will implement the following policy in: only employees with offices may bring a pet with them to work on Fridays. Virtually all employees with offices are professionals, and virtually all support staff have cubicles. Therefore, for the policy to achieve its intended results, support staff who wish to bring their pets with them on Fridays should be offered offices.
The argument above assumes which of the following?
(A) The new policy ought to provide equal protection from any noise and odors associated with bringing pets to the workplace on Fridays to all employees. (B) Employees with enclosed offices should not bring their pets with them to work on Fridays, even though the new policy allows them to do so. (C) Professionals who do not wish to bring their pets to work with them on Fridays should keep their enclosed offices. (D) The new policy is intended to allow all employees who wish to bring their pets to work with them on Fridays the opportunity to do so. (E) The policy is intended to allow support staff to bring their pets with them on Fridays, even if they do not have enclosed offices.

(A) The new policy ought to provide equal protection from any noise and odors associated with bringing pets to the workplace on Fridays to all employees. -> this is OOS

(C) Professionals who do not wish to bring their pets to work with them on Fridays should keep their enclosed offices. -> negate this no effect
(D) The new policy is intended to allow all employees who wish to bring their pets to work with them on Fridays the opportunity to do so. -> this is correct if we negate this no need to provide offices to support staff
(E) The policy is intended to allow support staff to bring their pets with them on Fridays, even if they do not have enclosed offices. -> this is opp to what the argument says
